Established in Hope
The Beginning
September 2025 was meant to be a fresh start, but it instead marked the onset of my most difficult trial. Following a dual kidney and pancreas transplant, severe medical complications led to grueling months in the hospital and numerous surgeries. I often felt drained and consumed by fear, struggling to see a way forward.
In the depths of that struggle, I was introduced to the art of beading. Though simple, the process of selecting beads and crafting with my fingers offered a vital mental escape. For those brief moments, the weight of my diagnosis faded as I focused solely on the act of creation.
That first bracelet evolved into something far greater than an accessory. It stood as a tangible testament to my survival and a silent promise that the sunrise of a better day was finally within reach.
Finding the Light
What began with one bracelet became part of my healing. As I continued creating, the beads began to represent something deeper—faith when I was afraid, strength when I felt weak, courage to keep moving forward, and renewal as I began finding myself again. Bracelet by bracelet, I discovered that even after the darkest night, there can still be light.
Why Daybreak
The name Daybreak came from the scripture that had become so meaningful to me: “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” — Psalm 30:5. Daybreak represents that first light after a long night—the reminder that the difficult chapter you are living through does not have to be the end of your story. The moment of light, brought to life by Dawn.
From My Story to Yours
Today, Daybreak by Dawn is about more than my journey. Every bracelet is created with the hope that it will mean something to the person wearing it. Some represent awareness. Some honor someone we love. Some remind us of faith, courage, strength, or renewal. And sometimes, a bracelet simply says what we need to hear: Hold on. Keep going. Your morning is coming.
